Terms & Conditions
In accordance with “The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations1992” all passengers booking with P W Jones (Hereford) Ltd are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of P W Jones (Hereford) Ltd. Consumer aware: Your booking is insured by IPP Ltd and its panel of insurers. This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to P W Jones (Hereford) Ltd. This Insurance has been arranged by International Passenger Protection Limited and underwritten by Insurers who are members of the Association of British Insurers & Lloyds Syndicates.
Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per person (Continental Tours), £50.00 per person (UK Tours) or £150.00 per person if flights apply,
must be paid at the time of booking, whereupon the firm will issue
a confirmation of your reservation along with your insurance
certificates.
Payment of Balance
Final payment is due without reminder from the firm ten weeks
before departure date. This is important, and the firm reserves the
right to treat as cancelled any booking not paid in full by that date
and to retain the deposit.
Cancellation by the Firm
The firm expects each tour to be operated as advertised but
reserves the right, without prior notice, to alter or cancel any tour
at their discretion. If any tour is cancelled the passenger may accept
any alternative tour the firm can offer; alternatively any deposit
or balances will be refunded in full. The firm will not be liable for
any loss, damage, delay, injury or inconvenience sustained by any
person through any alteration or cancellation of any tour.
Luggage
Company luggage labels will be issued and it is very important
that these are clearly marked with your full name in ink. No
responsibility will be accepted for any loss or mis-direction of any
luggage not supported by a properly completed label. Coloured
ribbons may be attached to your case. Please leave them on
throughout the holiday as this will speed things up on the return
journey.
The firm will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, injury or inconvenience to any person through road failure of any vehicle, ship, aircraft, train or any other means of conveyance to perform its journey or to depart or to arrive at the times advertised or not at all, or through any detention, delay, early running or want of punctuality. The firm shall have no liability for inconvenience of any passengers from point en route.
All arrangements made for hotels, accommodation and for the use of road vehicles, ships, aircraft, trains or any other means of conveyance operated by other persons or bodies are made by the firm’s agents for and on behalf of the passengers and on the express conditions that save aforesaid the firm will not be responsible for any loss, damage injury, delay or inconvenience sustained by or caused to passengers in any such hotels, vehicles, ships, aircraft, trains or other means of conveyance.
Variation of Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions cannot be varied, altered or waived
by any servant or agent or representative of the firm or any person
providing services on the holiday.
Holiday Cancellation
If you need to cancel your holiday, for any reason, this must be
received in writing prior to date of departure.
The following cancellation scale is used:

Example of Claim: Cancellation made within 13 to 27 days before departure means the insurance company will pay you 60% of the holiday cost less £50.00 per person excess, less insurance premium, and subject to the policy conditions on page 2 of the travel insurance document. P W Jones will refund to you the remainder.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
P W Jones (Hereford) Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Giles
Insurance Brokers Ltd. Giles Insurance Brokers Ltd is authorised and
regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). This can be checked
on the FSA’s website, or by contacting the FSA on 0845 606 1234.
We only offer travel insurance from a single insurer – ETIInternational
Travel Protection. The insurance is provided to
you free of charge when you book one of our tours, and is suitable
for those who wish to insure themselves when travelling against
the specified financial loss of unforeseen circumstances and
events relating to your trip. We have not provided you with any
recommendation or advice about whether this product meets your
specific insurance requirements. Details of the insurance cover
and exclusions are available on request and will be provided to
you upon confirmation of booking.
Health Conditions
The policy does not cover claims WHERE AT THE TIME OF
TAKING OUT THIS POLICY: You are aware of any medical
condition or set of circumstances that could reasonably be
expected to give rise to a claim (for example the state of health of
a close relative, Business Associate or any person on whom your
travel plans depend)
The Insured Person whose medical condition gives rise to a claim:
(i) is receiving, or on a waiting list for, surgery, inpatient treatment
or investigations in a hospital, clinic or nursing home
(ii) Your travel against any health requirements stipulated by the
carrier, their handling agents or any other public transport
provider
(iii) is travelling against the advice of a Medical Practitioner or
for the purposes of obtaining medical treatment abroad
(iv) has been given a terminal prognosis
General Exclusions - The policy includes some general exclusions relating to a variety of illnesses which are not covered. Full Exclusions and excess are listed in the policy document.
Material Facts
It is important that all statements you make to us or the Insurer
are accurate and that all material facts are disclosed. Failure to do
so could invalidate your insurance cover. Material Facts are those
facts which could effect whether (or on which terms) the insurer is
willing to provide you with cover – an example would be a change
in your medical condition
